3.2 Foreground Service Usage

Foreground Service for Battery Monitoring (declared as specialUse in our system manifest). This service:

  • •Displays a persistent notification to ensure you are aware the monitoring is active (as required by Android safety standards).
  • •Can be stopped instantly by toggling off the alert switch within the app settings.

Privacy Note: This service operates entirely locally and does not transmit any battery data to external servers.

4. Advertising Services

Our apps may display ads provided by third-party advertising partners, including:

  • •Google AdMob
  • •Meta (Facebook) Ads

These partners may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads in accordance with their own privacy policies.

While TV Gamepad: Remote Controller and Remote For TCL TV Smart do not natively collect, store, or share any personal information, they use the Google AdMob SDK to display advertisements. The Google AdMob SDK may collect and process certain data (such as IP addresses and Advertising IDs) to provide targeted advertising and analytics.

5. Android Permissions Explained

To provide its core diagnostic and alert functions, the App requires the following permissions:

  • •POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to send you real-time battery alerts when your set thresholds are reached.
  • •VIBRATE: Allows the device to provide haptic feedback during a battery alert.
  • •RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Enables the App to resume your previously enabled battery monitoring service after you restart your device.
  • •FOREGROUND_SERVICE & SPECIAL_USE: Required to maintain the battery monitor as a high-priority task, ensuring alerts are never missed.
  • •WAKE_LOCK: Used briefly during diagnostic scans to prevent the screen from turning off and interrupting the test.

6. File Management & Storage Permission

For our application "SD Card File Manager For GoSw", we require the All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission. This permission is a core functionality of the app, and without it, the application cannot perform its intended purpose. It is used specifically to:

  • •File Operations: Allow users to browse, copy, move, rename, and delete all types of files (including non-media formats such as PDF, APK, ZIP, etc.) across both internal storage and external SD cards.
  • •Storage Analysis: Provide an accurate "Storage Analyzer" feature that calculates disk space usage by scanning all files on the device.

Privacy Guarantee:

We respect your privacy. Our applications do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal files or data to our servers or any third parties. All file-related operations are processed locally and securely on your device.

7. Remote & Gamepad Applications – Permissions

For our remote control applications, including Remote For Xiaomi Mi TvControl, Remote For TCL TV Smart, and TV Gamepad, the following permissions are essential for core functionality:

  • •INTERNET: Required to establish a connection between your smartphone and your TV/Media device over your local Wi-Fi network. No personal data or browsing activity is transmitted to external servers.
  • •ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used solely to detect your connection status and identify compatible devices on the same local network for pairing. This does not grant access to Wi-Fi passwords or sensitive network information.
  • •POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display connection status and active session controls. These are generated locally on your device.

Privacy Guarantee:

All network communication performed by our remote control applications occurs exclusively within your local network. No personal data, device information, or usage history is collected, stored or transmitted to our servers or any third parties through the use of these permissions.

7.1 No Data Monitoring & Viewing History

We are committed to a strict "No Monitoring" policy for our remote utility apps.

  • •No Viewing History: We do not collect, track, or store any information regarding the channels you watch, the apps you launch, or the content you stream on your TV.
  • •No Input Logging: We do not log or record any button presses, keystrokes, or navigation patterns. Our applications act as a transparent bridge between your phone and your TV, and all control commands are processed in real-time without being stored.

7.2 Specific Disclosure for AirTag Detector – Tag Tracker

To provide its core security and tracking functions, the App requires the following permissions:

  • •Bluetooth Permissions (BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): These are essential to scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and trackers. The app uses this data only to identify and alert you about potential unauthorized tracking devices.
  • •Location Permissions (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): According to Android's technical requirements, location access is mandatory to perform Bluetooth scans. Privacy Guarantee: Our application does not track, collect, store, or share your physical location. Location data is used solely to enable the Bluetooth scanning process.
  • •Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE): This permission is used to maintain a high-priority scan in the background. This ensures that the app can monitor and alert you in real-time if a suspicious tracker is moving with you, even when the app is not actively open on your screen.
  • •Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send immediate security alerts if a suspicious tracker or AirTag is detected in your proximity.
  • •Internet Access: Used exclusively to load interactive map tiles (via OSMDroid) to help you visualize detection history and to display advertisements. No personal tracking data is transmitted to external servers.
  • •Data Retention: All scanning data, including signal strength and device identifiers, is processed locally on your device and is not collected or stored on our servers.

7.3 Specific Disclosure for SmartTag Detector Tracker

To provide its core security and tracking functions, the App requires the following permissions:

To provide its core screen mirroring and projection functions, the App requires the following permissions:

  • •USB Host Permission: Required to detect and establish a secure connection between your Android device and the external projector or display hardware via USB. This permission is used solely to enable the physical hardware interface.
  • •Display / Media Projection (MEDIA_PROJECTION): Used exclusively to capture your screen content and mirror it to the connected projector or external display. Screen content is streamed directly to the output device in real-time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
  • •Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION): Required to maintain an active and uninterrupted screen mirroring session while the app is running. A persistent notification is shown to inform you that mirroring is active, in compliance with Android safety standards.
  • •Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to display the active mirroring session status and provide controls (such as stop mirroring) directly from the notification shade.
  • •Wake Lock: Used to prevent the device screen from turning off during an active projection session, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted mirroring experience.
  • •Internet Access: Used solely to display advertisements within the app. No screen content, usage data, or personal information is transmitted over the internet.
  • •Data Retention: No screen content, display data, or session information is collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers. All mirroring operations are processed entirely on-device and output directly to the connected hardware.

7.5 USB Endoscope Camera OTG – Hardware Access

USB & Camera Functionality

Our application is specifically designed to interface with external USB endoscope hardware. To provide this service, we require:

  • •Camera Permission: Used exclusively to display the live feed from the connected external USB camera. We do not use the device's built-in cameras unless necessary for the core functionality.
  • •USB Host Permission: Required to establish a secure connection between your Android device and the external USB hardware.
  • •Microphone Permission: Used only if the user chooses to record video with audio. No audio is recorded or stored without explicit user action.

7.6 USB Endoscope Camera OTG – Media Storage & Privacy

Modern Storage Compliance (Scoped Storage)

We respect your data privacy by following the latest Android 2026 security standards:

  • •No Broad Access: The app does NOT request or require "Full Files Access" or "Read/Write External Storage" permissions.
  • •Automatic Saving: We use the MediaStore API to save captured photos and videos directly to your device's public folders (e.g., /Pictures/USBCamera). This ensures the app cannot see or modify your other personal files.
  • •User-Controlled Export: For downloading or moving files, we utilize the Storage Access Framework (SAF). This means the user manually selects the destination folder, and the app only gains access to that specific location chosen by the user.

7.7 USB Endoscope Camera OTG – Data Security

All media captured (photos and videos) is processed and stored locally on your device. GoSw Digital Ltd does not operate any cloud servers to store your private media, and we do not transmit your captures over the internet.

8. File Management & OTG Storage Permission

For our application "USB OTG Connector: USB Checker", we require the All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission. This is essential for:

  • •OTG Core Operations: Detecting, mounting, and formatting external USB drives.
  • •File Management: Copying, moving, and renaming files (PDF, APK, ZIP) across internal and external storage.
  • •Disk Repair: Performing maintenance on connected OTG devices.

Privacy Guarantee:

All operations are processed locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal files.
